Illinois Solar for All (ILSFA) has released the updated Environmental Justice Communities map for the 2024-2025 program year. The map reflects the removal of legacy Environmental Justice Community designations used during the 2023-2024 program year. Only the current designation will be eligible for the 2024-2025 program year and beyond. Section 8.12.3 of the 2024 Long-Term Renewable Resources Procurement Plan established that ILSFA’s Environmental Justice Communities maps are updated every five years, with the next update planned for 2028.
